I actually asked this question in the feedback section, however maybe it’s better to ask here, as the answer may benefit others as well.
I want to be able to remotely access the Hexa, via the internet. Like a remote surveillance bot. Actually I want to make some really cool stuff with it - that I will share with you later - however I need to make sure it always has power.
I can reach the Hexa over the internet, I also have a VPN at home if necessary (that part works). The power part is an issue. The Hexa has to be powered on (obviously), in order to be reachable - this means the Hexa must be placed on the charger, otherwise being powered on, will drain the power.
- I tested last night, placing the Hexa on the wireless charger, leaving it in the powered on state. This works as far as, it is accessible while charging. However when the Hexa reaches full charge, the charger turns off, and the powered on Hexa uses the power, until its drained, eventually shutting down.
Is there a way to circumvent this, some setting, where it will keep the charging while powered on after reaching full charge? Or perhaps a way to power it on remotely, from a powered off state.
I’m not afraid of tinkering nor coding to make this work.
