Is Vincross still alive?

From what I can gather, Vincross got a $10m investment led by Lenovo back in February 2019 but the Hexa with wireless charger has been out of stock for 2 months or more (as long as I’ve been watching). No update on the Twitter account since March (it’s now July), no company blog.

Vincross - are you around? Whats the status and future plans?

@pglombardo Thankfully we are alive and well! Yes, we’re now sold out of the wireless HEXAs. If you are still interested in getting one, please check periodically, as they may be restored in the future. During the past few months, we have been putting all the efforts on developing our new product - MIND KIT (https://bit.ly/32eKGVx), which we cannot wait to bring it out this fall! We are very confident and still sticking to our mission - “Making Robotics Accessible to Everyone!"

Thanks for the quick update and congratulations on the new product launch.

If I may say so, I hope that Hexa has a clear product path going forward as it’s a unique platform in a crowded space. Further, if Hexa is no longer actively developed, I hope you continue to manufacture & sell them (hopefully at a profit) and potentially open source the hardware.

A completely open source platform as unique as the Hexa would gain an even larger following of loyal fans IMO.
