SensorWalkSkill .mpk file missing

When I follow the tutorial I can’t run the SensorWalkSkill as it can’t find the .mpk. What am I doing wrong?

mind run
Can’t find any .mpk file to run

Did you run command mind build and mind pack before use mind run?

mind build is used to compile your source code, mind pack will pack them into a .mpk file and will be ready for install.

I didn’t run mind pack. That’s not in the instructions but it works now. Maybe it’s a good idea to update the instructions. Thanks

We’ve already mentioned this in the tutorial of sensor walk skill and README in the examples folder of GitHub, but maybe that’s not enough. We’ll keep trying to improve our documentation.

Actually I think I spotted that. Also, in Windows you use bashes $ prompt, and combine commands using &&. Neither of these will work.

And some of your links don’t work, including the one to the first skill.

It’s all online so would be quick and easy to fix these. Might be a good idea to get a non dev to work through the tutorial on a Windows PC.

Actually, there are some commands which can cause mistakes when they are run on the Windows PC.

We will check and refine the instruction and tutorial on the different platforms.
